What is the California Smokers' Helpline?
The California Smokers' Helpline (1-800-NO-BUTTS) is a free telephone counseling service operated by UC San Diego. The video describes the California Smokers Helpline's
(or 1-800-NO-BUTTS) free services to help quit smoking. After a brief intake questionnaire, a friendly staff person will offer a choice of services: self-help materials, a lost of other programs in your area, and one-on-one counseling over the phone.

The California Smokers’ Helpline (1-800-NO-BUTTS) is a free statewide quit smoking service. Visit www.nobutts.org
It is operated by the University of California San Diego's Moore's Cancer Center.
The Helpline offers self-help materials, referral to local programs, and one-on-one, telephone counseling to quit smoking.
Services are available in six languages (English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Vietnamese)
Specialized services are also available for teens, pregnant women, and tobacco chewers.
The Helpline also provides information to friends and family members of tobacco user
